The INVISIBLE EYE

Sparrow (@sparrowhall) has been a longtime upstate friend and collaborator, and getting to photograph him again felt like a homecoming. We met at the Clark Art Institute and the Clark Art Library to create promotional images for his new book, The Invisible Eye.

This was my first real portrait session in almost four years — essentially since Covid — and stepping behind the camera again felt grounding and energizing. Seeing through the lens again felt like returning to a part of myself, and the themes of his book only deepened that experience.

The Invisible Eye is a paranormal conspiracy thriller set partly in Upstate New York, with scenes unfolding in Newburgh, Montgomery, Amsterdam, Howe Caverns, and throughout the Catskills. If you’re attuned to subtle energies, this book will speak to you.

The novel explores the edges of human consciousness, merging over a decade of Sparrow’s research into paranormal phenomena, quantum mechanics, and spirituality. The story is told through the perspective of a woman living with a rare ability — she can see a person’s past lives simply by looking into their eyes.

You can find the book on Amazon, Bookshop.org, or through Sparrow's Instagram. I hope you’ll take a look.
